Your Impact
Mended has the honor of working directly with 23 survivor artisans in South Asia who are receiving consistent full-time orders to hand block print all of Mended's table linens and textiles. Additionally, Mended is honored to work with refugee women with Vickery Trading Company in Dallas, TX to finish our pillows and embroidery work on our Birthday Throws. Your support and purchase directly impacts our ability to keep placing purchase orders with our artisan partners.
For every textile printed, our survivor artisans are paid an-above-living wage. In 2024 alone, our survivor artisan partners printed 38,330 individual textiles! This income is allowing for homes to be built, children to be educated, food to be constant and for dignity to be restored. We are beyond grateful to YOU for making this happen.

The amount being paid to the artisans per piece creates real impact:
1 Tea Towel = 1 kilogram of rice
1 Table Runner = 1 month's school tuition
1 Full Tablescape = 1 month's rent for a home
Mended was born out of Mallory's time working with International Justice Mission (IJM), a global organization dedicated to protecting people in poverty from violence and slavery. During Mallory's years alongside IJM, she witnessed firsthand the importance of not only securing freedom for survivors, but also ensuring long-term restoration and dignity through meaningful work. Today, Mended partners closely with IJM’s local team in South Asia to make sure each survivor artisan receives holistic care—support that extends beyond employment to include counseling, safe housing, and community resources. This partnership allows Mended’s artisans to thrive, knowing that their well-being and healing are prioritized as much as the beautiful textiles they create.
