The Table Decor
Based in Dallas, Texas, Mallory serves Mended as the Founder & CEO. Born and raised in St. Charles, Missouri, Mallory ventured to the University of Missouri for her undergraduate studies as well as her MBA. After an incredible experience as a Mizzou Tiger, she ventured down to Dallas to work for Learfield Sports (a college sports marketing company) and then sold corporate sponsorships for Dallas’ NHL team, the Dallas Stars.
In 2015, using the relationship sales experience she had obtained, she moved to International Justice Mission and served as one of the organization’s Director of Strategic Partnerships. It was through her time at IJM in which her passion for this mission of ending slavery came alive. While she is no longer at IJM, she is confident that Mended is a part of the same mission – just playing a different role. Mallory lives in Dallas with her husband, Carter, and their two kids – Russell and Abby.
Lauren serves as Mended’s Director of Creative and Communications and brings 18 years of experience in retail design to the Mended team. After graduating from Auburn University in Industrial Design, she designed retail fixtures, displays and packaging for Chippenhook Corp. partnering with luxury brand companies such as Tag Heuer, Baume et Maucier, Neiman Marcus, & Maui Jim.
After a short stint on Fossil Inc.’s Store Design team, she had the privilege of working for the fast-growing, Tulsa-based jewelry company, Rustic Cuff. Helping lead their creative team and grow the company’s brick and mortar presence from Oklahoma to Texas and ultimately, their store at Disney World’s Disney Springs, proved to be an exciting ride full of opportunity in all areas of creativity and operations.
Lauren is thrilled to work alongside Mallory Martin in her mission to empower survivors across the globe. Lauren lives in Dallas with her husband, Justin, and their children, Carlyle and Ben.
