Inventory & Fulfillment Manager

This is a part-time, in-person position based in Dallas, TX, approximately 25–30 hours per week with the opportunity to expand into a full-time salaried position.

Mended is a social impact, for-profit business producing high-quality block printed textiles made by survivors of modern-day slavery across the globe. Our business is based in Dallas, TX.

Mended’s mission is to provide economic empowerment to survivors through the production of block printed textiles created for the globally conscious customer.

The Need

As Mended continues to grow across e-commerce, wholesale, and in-person sales, we are looking for a highly organized and detail-oriented Inventory & Fulfillment Manager to oversee our inventory systems and fulfillment operations.

This role is ideal for someone who loves organization, enjoys creating efficient systems, and takes ownership of operational excellence. The right person is proactive, dependable, and able to solve problems independently without requiring constant oversight.

Expectations & Responsibilities

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Inventory Management:

  • Receive, inspect, and organize all incoming inventory shipments
  • Assign inventory to the appropriate sales channels and storage locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts across Shopify and physical inventory
  • Conduct routine inventory audits and reconcile discrepancies

Order Fulfillment & Shipping:

  • Manage the timely and accurate fulfillment of all e-commerce and wholesale orders
  • Prepare, pack, and ship orders while maintaining Mended's presentation standards
  • Coordinate shipping schedules and troubleshoot shipping issues

Systems & Operations:

  • Lead the implementation and ongoing management of Mended's UPC/GTIN barcode system
  • Ensure all Shopify inventory data remains accurate and up to date
  • Develop and improve fulfillment and inventory systems

Team Contribution:

  • Collaborate with the founder and team on operational improvements
  • Assist with inventory preparation for markets, wholesale events, and product launches
  • Support additional operational needs as Mended grows

Preferred Experience

  • Experience in inventory management, shipping, or fulfillment
  • Familiarity with Shopify inventory management
  • Experience with UPC/GTIN barcode systems
