Finley Shirts & Mended Announce Collaboration Launching in Spring 2025
– The collection will debut to the trade at New York’s COTERIE September –
Dallas, TX – September 18, 2024 – Finley Shirts, Inc., a distinguished Dallas-based women’s clothing brand, and The Mended Company, LLC, a social-impact company also based in Dallas, are thrilled to announce a unique and meaningful collaboration launching to the consumer in Spring 2025. This partnership brings together Finley’s feminine, fun, and impeccably tailored apparel designs with Mended’s story-driven hand block printed fabrics created by survivors of modern-day slavery in South Asia.
Founded in 1995 by Finley Moll, Heather McNeill, and Marty Washington, Finley Shirts has built a reputation for designing and manufacturing expertly contoured and chic women’s shirts, dresses, and tops. The brand is dedicated to creating clothing that enhances a woman’s outer appearance and expresses her inner beauty and strength. Each piece is manufactured in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
Mended, founded in late 2020 by Mallory Martin, empowers survivors of bonded labor slavery in South Asia through the ancient art of hand block printing. Pieces created by Mended tell a powerful story of resilience and renewal, making this collaboration with Finley Shirts not just a fashion statement but a beacon of hope and empowerment.
The exclusive collection will launch at New York City's prestigious COTERIE market in late September, offering retail partners the first look at this one-of-a-kind line. It will be available in stores in March 2025. This collaboration combines the style and sophistication of Finley’s designs with the rich cultural heritage embedded in Mended’s hand block printed textiles, resulting in a stunning and socially impactful collection.
"We believe that this partnership is unique and necessary in today's fast-fashion world," said Mallory Martin, Founder & CEO of Mended. "Through our collaboration, we enable customers to make a global social impact by purchasing a stunning wardrobe staple while providing economic empowerment to the survivors we partner with in South Asia."
“We are thrilled to be a part of this collaboration,” said Finley Moll, Co-Owner and Design Director of Finley Shirts. “I absolutely adore the Finley x Mended styles. The way our signature shirts and shirtdresses and the lovely hand-crafted Mended fabric have turned out has truly exceeded our expectations.”
The collection will be available online and through select retailers following its debut at COTERIE in March 2025.
